The Ash Apartment
A complete renovation of a city-center apartment, planned around storage, quiet surfaces, and a longer line of sight.

The brief
The apartment's floor plan was reworked from five small rooms into three generous ones, with a full wall of custom storage running the length of the plan. Warm stone, ash timber, and a restrained set of fixtures keep the rooms calm under changing city light.
Lighting was layered in three heights: concealed at the ceiling, mid-level at the joinery, and low at the floor, so evenings feel as considered as mornings. Every element that could be built in was built in, leaving the rooms open and unforced.
